Psychedelic metal trio HOUNSKULL deliver driving rhythms and a fuzz-fueled sound in their new single “Altær”. The track offers a further glimpse into their upcoming album The Faces of Evil due to be released later in 2023.
The band comments:
“‘Altær’ was one of the first song written for the album. We had the idea to do a series of songs under the concept of control alt delete, ‘Altær’ being Alt while the other songs you’ll hear when the album drops. Lyrically the song is about the hero of our story standing at an altar utilizing the powers from the characters they met through out the album and altering their physical and mental state to combat the big bad evil guy of our story, hence the use of the ‘æ’ in the song name to represent the physical altar and the altering of the character.”
