ADVERSOR Announce New Album This Mortal CoilPremiere “Shattered Visions” Video

Italian thrash metal force Adversor have announced their fourth full-length, This Mortal Coil, set for release on November 6 via Selvajaria Records.

Leading the charge is “Shattered Visions,” the first single from the new record, accompanied by a brand-new music video premiered at No Clean Singing.

No Clean Singing had this to say about the track: “The song itself is a multi-faceted experience. It will rev your engines, sandblast your flesh, and give you cause to hammer your head like a piston. It’s exhilarating and furious, but also at times bleak and beleaguered. And it’s likely to get stuck in listeners’ heads very quickly.”

The band comment: “‘Shattered Visions’ represents very well how difficult our current global reality is. The song is an invitation to reflect before it’s too late and remember what the past should’ve taught us. This is the first time we wrote a song with this kind of style, hopefully metalheads will understand our message.”

Nearly a decade after emerging from the Italian underground, Adversor return with twelve tracks confronting both a fractured world and deeply personal struggles. This Mortal Coil addresses themes including social frustration, authoritarianism, violence and society’s fading memory of its darkest past, alongside loss and questions of identity.

Musically, the record merges the ferocious thrash attack of prime Kreator with the soaring melodies and technical edge of Vektor, opening a new chapter for a band that has spent the past decade touring across Europe and the UK and sharing stages with Exciter, Nifelheim, Protector, Discharge and more.
