Today, pop punk trio AIR DRAWN DAGGER are thrilled to announce their forthcoming debut album, A Guide For Apparitions, out April 4, via Long Branch Records. Alongside this announcement, the band unleash the explosive second single, “Apparitions”, which features Tobi Duncan of UK pop punk legends Trash Boat. The track arrives alongside an official music video directed by Aaran McKenzie (While She Sleeps) and also features an appearance from Duncan.

The band says about “Apparitions”:
“A return to big guitar riffs, it’s time to take accountability for the mess we’re in or accept our fate. On the other side of this song is an element of the hurt, and sometimes anger, you feel once you realize you’ve outgrown areas of your life and belief systems you held onto for so long. Relish in letting go of what no longer serves you, they’ll have to cross realms if they want to reach you. We brought in Tobi from Trash Boat because we knew this breakdown was the heaviest point of the album, the fight scene, the crescendo; and required an extra element to complete this track.”

Produced by Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Boston Manor), A Guide For Apparitions pulls listeners through haunted tales of cosmic chaos, inviting you on a spellbinding journey with the band’s macabre mysticism, multi-genre-infused rock, and eldritch imagery full of witch trials and ghost lore.

AIR DRAWN DAGGER blend raw emotion and defiance into a sound that defies genre. Their name, taken from Macbeth, symbolizes the chaos and emotional outbursts that fuel their music. BBC Introducing championed their early releases, and they soon found themselves on major playlists like Pop Punk Generation, Emo Anthems, and All New Rock. AIR DRAWN DAGGER’s momentum is undeniable. They’ve sold out their own headline shows and played packed-out UK dates with Millie Manders. Recent shows with Lake Malice, Dream State, and AVIVIA saw more back-to-back sellouts along with curating their own stage at the Tramlines Festival Fringe. With over 250,000 views on the music video for their single “You Should Have Known Better”, which also featured on the Kerrang! Chart, and multiple tracks premiering on BBC Introducing, the band’s cult-like following continues to grow.

Following their sold-out show at The Leadmill last year, AIR DRAWN DAGGER have also announced their biggest show to date at Corporation, in their hometown of Sheffield, on Saturday April 5, 2025. With all this, and more to come, 2025 is set to be The Year of the Dagger.
