Ambient/doomgaze outfit BOSCO SACRO is gearing up to release their new live album “Live at Chiesa Armena” on April 18th via Go Down Records. The band has just unleashed the second single “Be Dust”, along with an official video that can be viewed here:

“‘Be Dust’ is the second track of our debut album ‘Gem’, the band comments. “Lyrically, it describes the path of a man wore out by desires, passions, and losses who decides to step back from the civilized world and immerse himself in the wilderness. The observation of nature surrounding and embracing him mirrors the encounter and the exploration of his inner, spiritual dimension: psychically, the wood is the place where the external corresponds to the internal, where we can return to a point zero, from which we are able to restart. The gradual steps of such a healing journey are reflected by a crescendo of the song’s intensity, built up by different parts that, once developed, never return and don’t follow a repetitive scheme. As a band, we see this track as one of our most powerful compositions, a fact confirmed by the audience’s vivid reaction during each live performance. Enjoy!” 

The year 2024 marked a pivotal period for BOSCO SACRO, dedicated to honing their live performance and collaborative songwriting. The challenge of geographical distance and diverse commitments was met with focused dedication, culminating in the creation of “Live at Chiesa Armena”. This live album serves as a crucial bridge between their acclaimed debut, “Gem”, and their anticipated sophomore studio album.

The album captures the essence of a residency curated by Go Down Records within the historic Villa Albrizzi Marini. Immersed in the villa’s serene ambiance and the spiritual resonance of its chapel, the band forged a deeper connection through shared moments of contemplation and intense rehearsal sessions.

Known for their evocative and deeply immersive sound, with “Live at Chiesa Armena” BOSCO SACRO has once again crafted a sonic journey that transcends traditional genre boundaries.
