Better Lovers celebrate the one-year anniversary of their blistering debut album, Highly Irresponsible, with today’s release of a deluxe edition featuring two new tracks: “The Impossible End” and “Don’t Forget To Say Please.” The expanded collection arrives via SharpTone Records and is available now on all streaming platforms and vinyl: https://bfan.link/highly-irresponsible-deluxe.
Highly Responsible Deluxe Edition arrives as the band kicks off a new round of U.S. dates, including a stop at Warped Tour’s Orlando date, and culminating with the band’s annual Blissmas extravaganza on Dec. 13 at Buffalo RiverWorks. This year’s Blissmas features a stacked line-up including Glassjaw, Saves The Day, Terror, and more, plus the festival’s signature wrestling showcase. Better Lovers is Jordan Buckley, Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, Stephen Micciche, Greg Puciato, and Will Putney. Their debut album, Highly Irresponsible, arrived in in late 2024 to rave reviews. Brooklyn Vegan dubbed it “thrilling,” Alternative Press praised the band for their “high-octane chaos,” and Revolver, who featured them on their Fall 2024 cover, said the band offers up “all the scabrous screams, mathcore riffery, and rawk grooves fans could hope for.” In 2023, the band launched Blissmas, their annual Buffalo-based holiday festival featuring multiple bands, wrestling, and surprise guests.
