Edmonton, Alberta, Canada – Canadian female-fronted melodic metal quartet Boneyard is set to release their explosive new single, “Before The Fall” , on March 7, 2025 . The track offers a powerful blend of melody, aggression, and raw emotion, and is sure to captivate fans of Doro, Iron Maiden, and The Warning . The accompanying video’s heavy subject matter explores the dark underworld of human trafficking and missing and murdered indigenous persons.
Formed in 2015 by vocalist/guitarist Pamtera and drummer Jefftimus , Boneyard began crafting their sound with the release of their debut album, Oathbreaker . Despite pandemic delays, the album garnered attention, and in 2022, WormHoleDeath Records re-released it internationally, including in Japan. With singles and videos for tracks like “Fates Warning” , “Born Again” , and “Evil Ways” , Boneyard made a strong impression on the global metal scene. Maor Appelbaum , Grammy-nominated and Juno-winning mastering engineer ( Faith No More, Annihilator ), mastered the album in Los Angeles.
Now, with their upcoming sophomore album Black Static in the works, Boneyard is ready to release “Before The Fall” as the first taste of what’s to come. The new single introduces the band’s evolving sound, now featuring bassist Lezzy Osbourne and guitarist Garhardt in the lineup, further solidifying their signature fusion of melody and metal.
Boneyard’s presence has already been felt across Western Canada, with performances at notable festivals such as Decimate Metalfest, Schwabfest, and Shockerfest , alongside supporting major acts like 96 Bitter Beings, Deadwolff, and Syryn .
