Released on the 12th June, ‘Gallows‘ is the new 5-track E.P release from Doncaster (England, UK) based ‘‘Circle Of Origin’. The EP is a collection of songs from an emerging British band, infusing alternative metal sensibility with a classic rock aesthetic.

The South Yorkshire outfit have again joined forces with producer Matt Elliss (Axis Recording Studios UK) who helped guide their 2025 acclaimed debut EP ‘Guilty Til Proven Innocent’ Retaining their uncompromisingly gritty edge, Circle Of Origin refrain from the temptations of over-polished production to create a sonic onslaught, that blends raw cathartic energy with brooding melodicism, Boasting a hard hitting and cross-genre sound that appeals to a wide spectrum of rock and metal fans, the seasoned musicians bring each creation to life with maximum impact. Lyrical themes from frontman/vocalist Danny Porter, pour with an emotionally vulnerable and introspective depth throughout their ‘Gallows’ EP. Guitarists Andy Wordsworth and Rick Williamson deliver a united attack of explosive riffs, melodic interplay and expressive solo outbreaks – all firmly anchored by the powerful rhythmic grooves of bassist John Heaver and drummer Scott Emery. ‘Gallows’ begins a new phase for the independent band, who since forming in 2024, have been consistently rising from the UK’s underground metal scene.
