Swiss noise-rock collective COILGUNS have officially released their fifth studio album, Everything We Love, We Destroy, out today, November 6, via Humus Records!
Eleven tracks of raw, explosive and gloriously unpredictable sonic chaos, the new record finds COILGUNS pushing their volatile mix of hardcore punk, noise-rock and abrasive experimentation into even more dangerous territory.
Following the critically acclaimed Odd Love and a relentless touring cycle that saw the band play more than 85 shows worldwide in 2025, COILGUNS wasted no time channelling that live energy into their most urgent and instinctive material yet.
Initially emerging from the DIY hardcore scene, Coilguns have spent the years since 2011 carving out their own volatile blend of punk and noise-rock, earning a reputation for raw, uncompromising and euphoric live performances built for dancing freaks and crowd-surfing weirdos.
Their fourth album, Odd Love, released in November 2024, triggered the band’s most extensive touring cycle yet, culminating in more than 85 shows worldwide throughout 2025. Rather than slowing down, they channelled that momentum directly into album number five.
Everything We Love, We Destroy was written quickly and instinctively, with the band deliberately choosing simpler routes, rougher riffs and bolder moves in response to a world they see becoming increasingly opaque, absurd and difficult to understand.
In their words: “This is our way to heal from chaos, add clarity to the equation and loudly fight for calm.”
Fresh from their first Mexican tour, Coilguns returned to their hometown of La Chaux-de-Fonds and transformed the headquarters of Humus Records, an old warehouse filled with years’ worth of collected gear — into their recording space.
The album reunites the production team behind Odd Love, with Scott Evans (La Dispute, Thrice, Neurosis) handling recording, Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Pixies, Royal Blood) mixing and Robin Schmidt (The Hives, Yungblud) mastering. Ben Chisholm (Chelsea Wolfe, The Armed) also contributed additional production and overdubs.
The record marks another important first for Coilguns: it is the first album written with bassist Kevin Galland involved from the very beginning, allowing the band to fully explore the possibilities of a classic four-piece line-up.
For a band that sees a world rapidly losing hope, Everything We Love, We Destroy is their response: electricity, sweat, urgency and the stubborn belief that not everything we love has to disappear.

To support the release, COILGUNS will hit the road across Europe throughout November and December, with the band also recently confirming an extensive European tour for 2027.
