Coroner – Launch new single/video “Symmetry”; LISTEN HERE
New studio album “Dissonance Theory” coming next month!
Swiss pioneering technical Metallers Coroner continue to promote their upcoming studio album “Dissonance Theory”, a first release with new music after more than three decades, which will be released on October 17th, 2025
worldwide via Century Media Records.
Following up on the extremely positive response to the initial announcement for “Dissonance Theory” and the launch of its first single and video “Renewal”, Coroner are pleased to debut a second new single now with the track

Coroner’s guitarist, songwriter and producer Tommy Vetterli checked in with the following comment about “Symmetry”: “This track is about vanity, ego, and how self-obsession can be destructive. That idea shaped the way we played it too. “Symmetry” gave us room to explore, and with the rhythmic dimension Diego (Rapacchietti – Drums) brings, it pushed us further than we’ve gone before.”

“Dissonance Theory” contains 10 new songs across 47 minutes, recorded by Tommy Vetterli at New Sound Studios in Switzerland and mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden (Opeth, Kreator, Amon Amarth, etc.). The album’s cover artwork (to be seen above) was created by Stefan Thanneur / www.manifeste.net
