FROM THE LAND unveil “F.K.”, an anthem for the open road

Dark country/gothic rock project, featuring Nytt Land members, release second single ahead of biker festival performance
Debut album “Stolen Season pt. I” to be released in November

From The Land, a new dark country/gothic rock project featuring Nytt Land members, has released a video to the second single “F.K.” off their upcoming album “Stolen Season pt. I” slated for 21 November via 7 Mater, with distribution handled by The Circle Music.

This release follows their debut single “Psalm 2” (stream/music video) and precedes their performance at a major biker festival in early September.

Regarding the new track, the band stated: “‘F.K.’ is open to individual interpretation; its origin remains a mystery. This song is dedicated to all knights of the road, lone riders, nomads, and vagabonds. It is a hymn to endless paths and to those madmen who have chosen such a fate for themselves.“

The release of ‘F.K.’ coincides with an upcoming performance at a significant biker festival in early September, which is a large gathering of biker clubs from Siberia, Mongolia and China. The band recently filmed the music video for ‘F.K.’ with one of the largest motorcycle clubs in Siberia.

From The Land is the brainchild of Anatoly Pakhalenko, frontman of the dark folk band Nytt Land. Conceived in 2025, the project serves as an alter ego for Pakhalenko’s creative exploration and experimentation within dark country and blues genres. The band’s aesthetic is described as a “black and white world tired of all this s**t that’s going on around and gradually sinking into an endless sleep.”

The song “F.K.”, and the full debut album, was composed by Anatoly Pakhalenko and Aleksandr Rosliakov. The album was recorded at Nytt Land Studio between January and May 2025, with Anatoly Pakhalenko serving as recording and mixing engineer, and producer.

From The Land draws inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, and David Lynch.
