Emerging South Coast UK trio i-ATLAS announce their dynamic debut EP, Beyond The New Horizon, set for release on Friday 11th September, alongside the release of their striking new single and video, 3iAtlas, which is out now. Originating from Bognor Regis and formed in 2025, the band operate as a three-piece built around a bass-led, rhythm-driven approach to writing and production. Consisting of Dougy (vocals, guitar, lyrics, and melody), Ondy (bass, effects, programming, and production design), and Marcus (drums), i-ATLAS combine industrial textures, driving grooves, and melodic songwriting. Their sound draws influence from the rhythmic force of Rage Against the Machine, the adventurous scope of David Bowie, the melodic instincts of U2 and Duran Duran, and the contemporary hard rock production associated with Tremonti.
Built around groove, dynamics, and sonic detail rather than excess, i-ATLAS have developed a sound that balances weight with atmosphere. Guided by a strong DIY ethos, the band remain fiercely independent, evolving on their own terms.
Their debut release, Beyond The New Horizon, captures the breadth of the band’s influences while retaining a clear identity of its own. Moving between driving rhythms, layered textures, and melodic depth, the EP highlights a group focused on songcraft as much as impact.
Further live performances and festival appearances will be announced in the coming months. With Beyond The New Horizon, i-ATLAS present the strongest statement of their musical identity to date, establishing a foundation from which the band intends to grow.
