The Oxys from Austin, Texas announce killer new studio album titled, Casting Pearls Before Swine, out September 19, 2025 on Cleopatra Records.

The Oxys are intent on wrangling fans out of their world weary despondency with their newest offering. “This is the most insidious of our three albums,” says guitarist and songwriter Ginchy. “It’s a raw and unflinching exploration of the human experience, delving into themes of obsessive love, the psychology of killers, the power of reinvention, and a critical view of today’s complacent society. Listeners will find themselves on a visceral journey through life’s struggles, the grip of addiction, and the will to survive.”

The Oxys began back in 2021 when Ginchy (Dead BoysSylvain Sylvain and the Sylvains) and frontman Phil Davis managed to smash the monotony of pandemic life by channeling their collective energy into music and creativity. By December of 2022, they put out their first full length record, A Date With The Oxys (Dead Beat Records). Following much critical acclaim for their debut, they delivered Generation Irrelevant just 12-months later, again garnishing favorable worldwide press. With rhythm guitarist Genocide, bassist Michael Harpel and newest addition drummer Logan Flaherty.

It was my greatest pleasure to feature Jason “Ginchy” Kottwitz, The Lead Guitarist of The Oxys on an Interview with Metalheads Forever Magazine, to chat on the new upcoming album, Touring, Release plans and more awesomeness of the band. Check out the complete coverage on the below YouTube video.
