What was the beginning pint for your music career? How did it all start?

NYMPHIC began as an idea from our singer, blending her dystopian sci-fi/fantasy story with hard-hitting music and performances. The story reflects real-world struggles in a fictional universe, tying everything together. It started years ago as an acoustic duo, but over time, the project evolved into the alternative metal force that is NYMPHIC today.

Was there any bumps on the road? What kind of challenges did you have to deal with?

Absolutely—we’ve faced our share of challenges, from life-changing surgeries and lineup changes to canceled tours due to freak floods and even power outages at shows. Each obstacle tested our resourcefulness and resolve, shaping us as individuals and strengthening our bond as a band. These moments helped us grow, both musically and personally, and fueled the fire behind NYMPHIC.

What was the most fulfilling and satisfying moment so far?

It’s hard to pick just one! Reaching the Metal to the Masses 2024 London final on our first try was a huge milestone, but we’re equally proud of our upcoming release, Enemy. Everything—from the music video to the comic series—was done in-house, off our own backs. Seeing the story and vision come to life is incredibly rewarding, and it feels like everything we’ve worked for is finally coming together.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Gritty riffs, heavy basslines, deep storytelling, and a blend of melodic and rap vocals—that’s the heart of NYMPHIC. But what really sets us apart is our immersive storytelling. At the core of our music is The Nymphic Flower, a vengeful earth spirit in a dystopian sci-fi saga. This narrative connects our songs, cinematic music videos, and comic series, creating a multimedia universe that mirrors real-world struggles.

What is your creative process like?

Our creativity is fueled by the world around us and stories in pop culture that resonate on a deeper level. Musically, we thrive in the jam room—Tony’s thunderous bass riffs, Adam’s gritty guitar tones, and Omi’s keen eye for musical details bring the sound to life, while Stix layers in storytelling and lyrics that make even the structure of the music meaningful. It’s a dynamic, collaborative process where every member’s voice shapes the final product.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

We’d love to see more support for the underground scene, especially financial resources. There are so many talented bands out there, but PR and promotional services that could help them break through often come with price tags that smaller bands just can’t afford.

If you were asked to give a piece of advice to upcoming bands, what would that be?

Don’t stop. Make music that you love and put yourself out there. It takes time, hard work, and resilience, but it pays off when you stay true to your sound and your vision.

What has been the best performance of your career so far?

Playing Downstairs at The Dome was absolutely electric. The crowd was incredible—the venue was packed, and the mosh pit was massive! We made so many new fans that night, and a lot of them have stuck with us on our journey since then. It’s moments like that where you really feel the connection with your audience, and we’re so grateful for their support.

If you didn’t become a musician, what would you be doing now?

Honestly, we can’t imagine life without music. It’s such a huge part of who we are. But if we had to choose, most of us would probably spend our time traveling and experiencing the world in new ways.

What is new with the band at the moment? What are you currently working on and would like to share with the world?

We’re gearing up for the next chapter in our journey! The second chapter of our trilogy,‘Enemy’, drops on 31.01.25 across all streaming platforms, and the music video—picking up right where ‘Peony’ left off—will be live on YouTube.

But that’s not all! The second installment of our comic series will also drop onTapas, bringing more depth to The Nymphic Flower saga. As we mentioned before we’ve done everything ourselves, from the video to the comic, and we’re beyond proud of how it’s turned out. This project has been a labor of love, and we’re excited for the world to dive deeper into the NYMPHIC universe.
