For three decades, The Wildhearts have remained at the forefront of the UK rock scene. Through incendiary, festival-topping live shows and a life lived in the fast lane, they have cemented their reputation as one of the most prolific and notorious bands their homeland has produced. Now, they return with a brand-new studio album Titled Satanic Rites of The Wildhearts and produced and mixed by Jim Pinder and Carl Bown (Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, While She Sleeps), the record is conceived musically, visually, and in spirit as a belated 10-track follow-up to their classic debut, Earth vs The Wildhearts (1993).
As always, frontman Ginger’s songwriting remains ambitious and impossible to pigeonhole. The album delivers songs of defiance and hope, raw emotion, and unfiltered energy—tracks that sound like nothing else on this planet or any explored part of space.
As the album came out on 7th March, I had the pleasure to speak with Ginger on the new album and much more of the Wildhearts awesomeness and Plans. Check out the complete coverage on the below YouTube Video.
