Thank you Mr. Wakeman for taking the time to speak with us here at Metalheads Forever Magazine.

Q: What are your plans after this final Sabbath tour?

A: I’ll have a week back at home in the UK before heading out with Damian Wilson (Headspace vocalist) on a 2-3 week acoustic duo tour of the UK during February 2017. We recorded an album call “Weirkeeper’s Tale” which we’ll be playing lots of tunes from. ( youtube.com/watch ) After that, in May 2017 I have a tour with Snakecharmer penciled in and then we’ll see what else crops up!I have recently moved out of my studio so I’m looking to relocate that somewhere as well.

Q: What is your favourite memory from the road with any band or artist you have worked and/or toured with?

A: That’s a difficult one as there’s been a lot of bands and a lot of memories! I gate crashed 2 weddings on the same night in Mexico with one of the crew a few years back. The tour had finished and everyone had flown home except the two of us left at a hotel waiting for our flight the following morning. That was pretty memorable. Going to Korea with Ozzy last year was an amazing experience as I’d never been there before.

Q: Are you planning to move to another country depending on the results of the election?

A: I live in the UK, so I’ll be staying there unless work means I have to move. The only real move would probably come about if the TV and Film scoring took off and I would have to move to LA.

Q: Favourite on the road snack?

A: Difficult one that…probably pistachio nuts.

Q: Favourite song?

A:Varies from hour to hour depending on my mood and circumstances. right now, I would say Black Night by Dr. John. When flying over a city in the plane, then Headspace’s “The Big Day”

Q: Favourite sports team?

A: Don’t really follow Sports but as my 7 year old is a big football fan, I’ll go with Manchester City FC.

Q: Beatles or The Rolling Stones?

A: Both. That’s like asking tea or coffee! (I drink both…)

Thank you for your time and until next time stay Metal.

My pleasure – all the very best www.adamwakeman.co.uk
