Welcome to Alpha Omega management and regards from Metalheads Forever magazine, how have you been?
Things are great on our end. We have some big tour and music announcements coming up in the very near future.
For a start, what’s your favourite food? I like to break the ice.
Hmm that is a tough one. But I would have to say my favorite food would probably be Mac and Cheese, Hot Wings and for some of us Vegan food.
Tell us about how the band was formed. What were some of your influences growing up?
The band was formed in one of our basements in 2008 by best friends of 16+ years who at the time were playing the video game Rock Band when our friends mom came down stairs and said that we should start a real band instead of playing one in videos games and we haven’t looked back since.
Some of our biggest influences are The Mars Volta, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Circa Survive, Pink Floyd, Sound Garden, Coheed and Cambria, Pearl Jam, Muse.
So what are you guys hailed as what can you tell our readers about your unique sound?
We are a Rock band with catchy vocals and intricate musicianship. Our sound incorporates music from all genres from Progressive Rock to Psychedelic to Latin music, just to name a few.
Please tell us about the band lineup and their respective roles within the band?
John Clark- Vocals / Guitar
Mars Vendz- Guitar / Vocals
Craig Podell- Bass
Parke O’Leary- Drums
What does EVHO stand for?
EVHO is short for the band’s previous name Event Horizon
That is so cool and I loved the movie as well…….
What are your musical themes in general?
The themes of the songs are usually determined by where we are at in that moment of our lives for example the lyrics to our latest single ‘Ricochet’ was written when the band went on their first two month long tour of the US. The song is about about running away from your problems and then coming back to rebuild yourself to become complete again, that’s ‘Ricochet.’”
So what got you into Rock? Would you rather like to be called old school?
We’ve always liked rock music since we were all kids. It is what our parents listened to so we kept the trend going and we just like to call it all rock music.
So what’s your favourite gear?
We are all into various gear and tons of effects pedals. Some of our favorite instrument brands are Guitars – Gibson / Gretsch / Dan Electro / Fender Bass- Warwick Drums- Mapex
Tell us about your new single and album?

What do you do outside of the band?
We all have jobs that all us to Tour as much as possible from Tattooing to Graphic Design
What are your plans for the second half of 2017 and heading towards 2018?
We are excited to announce that at the end of August we will be heading for our first tour in China and we also plan to do a bunch of other tours / writing / recording a bunch of new music for everyone to hear.
How has your experience with the Alpha Omega family been so far?
Our experience has been great so far and we are looking forward to bigger things to come in the near the future.
