Dekta are a metal band from Barcelona, formed in 2015. Their style blends 90s heavy metal with melodic passages, alternating between clean and harsh vocals, and combining powerful riffs with more atmospheric ones, all supported by a groove-filled rhythm section. After releasing their debut album in 2017, they stood out for their performance at the 27th edition of Ripollet Rock in 2019, where they shared the stage with international bands such as H.E.A.T. and The Unity. At the end of 2021, they released their second album, *When Everything Burns*, and went on a tour across Spain, with a standout performance at the 2022 Can Mercader Festival, alongside bands like Ankor and Sirol.

2024 saw the release of their 3rd album 144, the groundbreaking, barrier breaking album has stormed the metal community around the globe and I had the greatest pleasure to have Dust on the Interview, to speak on 144 and Dekta and much more about the band.
