Interview With Estefania Of Spain's "Arise" | Metalheads Forever Magazine

Arise is a contemporary female fronted Metal act from Alicante (Spain).

The band was formed in the summer of 2011, and after a year of hard work, their debut ‘7 MUNDOS’ was released on June 30th, 2012. In 2013 there was a change in the line-up and the band decided to start from scratch and give way to the composition of their following opus “Aquareum”, presented back in August 2015. With this new album, the band began a new stage, better consolidated and more ambitious. In 2017, the line-up underwent a change again and in 2020 Arise released the single “Disconnection” as an interlude, as a reflection of the current situation experienced at that time caused by COVID-19.

However, it is not until April 22nd of 2022 when the band is finally able to bring out their new and most powerful work till today “EÓN”, Characterized by a more organic and powerful sound, this new sound combines contemporary elements such as influences from sub-genres such as Djent and Metalcore, also including the melodic and versatile vocals of Estefanía. This is undoubtedly the purest reflection of what Arise means nowadays.
