What was the beginning point for your music career? How did it all start?

Well Jin was practically a piano prodigy when she was young. And I (Cam-guitar) also took guitar lessons when I was a wee tyke. But as far as career, I can only speak for myself here, the real beginning for me was starting my first High school band “ the Suburbans”. That got the ball rolling as far as playing rock and roll!

Was there any bumps on the road? What kind of challenges did you have to deal with?

Anytime you try and get 4 adults together on a regular basis it can be a challenge. We’re still dealing with the bumps as we try and take this to the next level. But I consider us pretty lucky that we get along so we’ll and love playing music together.

What was the most fulfilling and satisfying moment so far?

We’ve had some great moments! Playing for fans anytime is amazing, but certain stages/ venues give it an extra vibe for us. We played what used to be a legendary punk club here in Vancouver, the buddha cabaret. That was a blast. Seeing our tunes on the idenpendent charts has been amazing.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

We blend post-punk, post-rock, post-grunge, with a hint of shoegaze to try and create a sound somewhat unique to us

What is your creative process like?

Myself (Cam) or Mike (bass player/producer) will bring in a riff or a more complete song and we’ll jam it out a bit. Eventually it’ll start to take shape and Jin will lay her magic down over top.

If you were asked to give a piece of advice to upcoming bands, what would that be?

Have fun! That’s the most important thing. Beyond open to the creative process and just have a good time doing it

What has been the best performance of your career so far?

I think some of our best shows have been on the road. We played a really fun show in Penticton this year, and another blast of a show in Victoria, BC

If you didn’t become a musician, what would you be doing now?

Well we all work day jobs, rock and roll has yet to pay the bills. It’s a labor of love as they say

What is new with the band at the moment? What are you currently working on and would like to share with the world?

We just released “Vows” on Oct 1st a new single. “Biodome” will be released Dec 1st another single, and we’re hoping to have the rest of our second full album done in the spring of the new year.  And then look for us at a festival near you come summer of 2025!

Thanks for having us!!!
