The band Kami No Ikari unveils a brand new, visceral single: “See You In Hell”, a bold reinterpretation of a cult theme from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh!.
Some members of the band have long held a deep passion for the world of anime. In 2021, that passion led them to discover “Kami no Ikari”, a powerful piece from the Yu-Gi-Oh! original soundtrack, composed by Shinkichi Mitsumune. Moved by the emotional intensity of this instrumental track, Kami No Ikari chose to make it their own—in their own unique way.

“See You In Hell” is far from a simple cover. It’s a hybrid creation, where the original theme becomes the foundation for an entirely rewritten track—guitars, bass, drums… everything has been reimagined. The whole piece is elevated by custom orchestration from Francesco Ferrini (Fleshgod Apocalypse), and 100% original lyrics by Kami No Ikari. The track also features an exclusive verse and a brutal breakdown that didn’t exist in the original version.
Originally intended as the title track for their debut album, the single was set aside due to licensing issues. Today, the band fully embraces this tribute project and shares it with pride.
It also marks the debut of drummer Felix Feuillette, a thunderous entrance that sets the tone for what’s to come.
Kami No Ikari dedicates this single to the memory of Kazuki Takahashi, creator of Yu-Gi-Oh!.
