Louisiana’s DECOY release new single, “Something Else Entirely” ft. Merauder’s Jorge Rosado

Coming in hard and fast on the heels of their latest single, Becoming, Louisiana’s DECOY are back with a juggernaut of musical calamity. This time around, DECOY recruited the legendary vocal master killer, Jorge Rosado of NY’s iconic MERAUDER. Caustically obnoxious, Something Else Entirely, is relentless, unapologetic and unforgiving.
Something Else Entirely speaks volumes. In a world filled with a barrage of hostility and anguish, Something Else Entirely is that battlecry for antagonistic righteousness, it’s us against them, me against you.
Rip me from every memory
I set the boundaries
Now I watch myself rise
Watch you in your misery
No fucking friend to me
Something Else Entirely is some of DECOY’s best work to date. The cohesive essence of the band has been well-established on their newest offering.
DECOY’s Drummer, Lucien Champion reflects on Something Else Entirely;
“We don’t care how you take it…it’s us. We have Jorge from Merauder lending some vocals attributing to our case but in his own way which is honestly so amazing and special to us. We really don’t need to say much about it, I mean it’s fucking Jorge from Merauder, one of our favorite singers of all time.”
Be sure to check out DECOY’s Something Else Entirely streaming on all digital platforms through Upstate Records and Blood Blast Distribution!
Establishing a reputation for their high-energy stage presence, DECOY are commanding audiences well beyond their home state. Adding to Jonah Smith vocals, he is joined by Lucien Champton on drums, Bobby Burnette and Matt Rumfellow on guitars along with his brother Chris Rumfellow on bass. Their style of metallic hardcore hits hard and deep pushing the boundaries of controlled chaos.
Be sure to catch DECOY on their southern run this April with support from SOUL EXCHANGE.
