Raleigh (NC) – Melodic Black Metal newcomers, Fulaing, have released two-song debut, An End Held Dear! Streaming now on all digital platforms, as well as available on cassette via Bandcamp, An End Held Dear is a grand introduction to a talented new band that is sure to command listener attention right ouft of the gate!
Recorded over 2024 in the band’s home studio, located on the Historic Isabella Bowen Henderson property, tucked away amongst lush hidden gardens in the heart of Raleigh, NC, An End Held Dear seeks to showcase what Fulaing has to offer! The title track bleeds between blackened folk and melodic death metal, while “Like Deserts Dream Of Rain” draws from funeral doom and DSBM to create a cinematic soundscape, all of which serves as accompaniment to the grief and suffering of existence while longing for something more.
Formed in the last gasps of 2023, Raleigh, North Carolina’s Fulaing channels suffering into a soundscape of loss, melancholia and a longing for more. Taking inspiration from black metal, folk, funeral doom, and melo death to conjure the resonance of grief and sorrow.
