Ryker Castro is a composer, bassist, and keyboardist who splits his time between Sweden and the Canary Islands. With years of experience crafting music across genres, Ryker now unveils his most ambitious project yet: Every King Has a Clown — a deeply conceptual metal album that fuses melodic power, rich symbolism, and emotional storytelling.
Rather than forming a traditional band, Every King Has a Clown is a personal artistic journey. Ryker collaborates with international musicians, bringing each chapter of the story vividly to life through dynamic performances and diverse voices.
Central to the project’s visual and thematic identity is Ekhac, a recurring symbolic figure — part jester, part fallen king — who embodies the emotional heart of the album. Through Ekhac, Ryker explores themes of pride, vulnerability, and the inevitable fall that follows unchecked ambition.
