Lisbon-based doom/death metal band My Dementia return with their first full-length album “Premonição: Só Me Arrependo Do Que Não Vivi,” set to be released on May 8th via Caverna Abismal Records. Pre-orders are now available at this location.

Blending the bleak intensity of death metal with the somber weight of doom, this record pushes the band’s emotional core to tragic new depths. The themes explored in the lyrics, written before the album’s completion, now feel hauntingly prophetic.

Shortly after finishing the album’s production, guitarist/vocalist Miguel Carneiro tragically passed away, leaving behind a legacy that now finds its voice in this final recording. The album stands not only as a testament to the band’s artistic evolution but also as a deeply personal tribute to Miguel — immortalizing his voice, his pain, and his vision.

To mark the album’s announcement and honor Miguel’s memory one year after his passing, My Dementia unveil the lead single “Gloom’s Light” — a haunting journey through grief, memory, and melodic despair.
