BLOODSAW are a blistering blackened speed metal force hailing from Manchester, UK. Formed in 2023, the band blends the raw energy of classic NWOBHM with the ferocious intensity of early thrash pioneers like Venom, creating a sound that’s both nostalgic and cutting-edge. Drawing influence from modern blackened speed metal acts like Hellripper and Devastator, whilst blending perfectly with the Heavy Metal heritage of Exciter and Razor, Bloodsaw craft blistering riffs, relentless drumming, and soaring vocals that leave an indelible mark on listeners.
Their self-titled EP, released in 2024, marked their explosive entrance into the metal scene, showcasing their signature blend of speed, aggression, and dark energy.
Already making waves, the band performed at Doomed Resurrection Festival in Nottingham and opened the 2025 edition of Thrashchester at Rebellion, Manchester last November as well as playing a host of shows throughout the year, including supporting International acts such as Bewitcher and Chemicide, as well as bands from across the UK including Devastator, Struck A Nerve, Thrasherwolf, Exorcism, Regicide, Exaust, Beyond Salvation and many more
With their relentless drive and unstoppable live presence, BLOODSAW are primed for even greater things in 2026. Their Bloodstock Manchester Metal 2 The Masses journey starts in February alongside with a 4 date tour with Struck A Nerve and Devastator and 3 Dates with Struck A Nerve and Exorcism already announced, plus Wolfbastards album launch show in March already booked as well as a trip to Norwich in May for SlayFest the band will be heading to a venue near you..
