Announce New EP ‘Infinite Legacy’
Minneapolis-based Cinematic Metal AfterTime announce their upcoming EP “Infinite Legacy” due for release on November 5th, 2021. This announcement accompanies the release of the title track showcasing AfterTime’s signature concoction of ferocious riffs, cinematic choral arrangements, orchestral layers and a blistering rhythm section.
Methodically curating music that sails ahead with purpose, AfterTime’s strongest suit is the triumphant and adventurous spirit weaved into every composition. Listeners are treated to a cascading soundscape rooted in symphonic metal with cinematic elements, grand arrangements, awe-inspiring fretwork, infectious choruses, and Sarah Wolf’s multi-octave resonant vocals delivering each lyric with full gusto.
Guitarist Brad Sturgis speaks on the EP: “Infinite Legacy serves as a follow-up to our album The Farthest Shore. The songs tell of how humanity has always had the urge to explore, make their own legacies, and carve their own paths across this world. The EP consists of two brand new songs, two revisited versions of classic AfterTime songs, and a special orchestral medley that recaps the journey!”
Coming off the successful releases of their previous studio efforts, such as “The Fall Of Light (2016)”,“World We’ve Lost (2017)” ,“The Farthest Shore (2020)” , which saw the band share stages alongside Epica, Hammerfall & Delain, AfterTime continue to prove their affinity towards high-quality production and willingness to expand their creative horizons.
