Alternative metal formation ANN MY GUARD have released their new single and lyric video Martyrium on all digital platforms. It is the first musical collaboration in the history of the band: Kristoffer Gildenlöw (ex-Pain Of Salvation, Kayak, For All We Know, Neal Morse) made the song complete and even darker with his fantastic voice.
“Composing music for me is a very personal and effective tool for summoning the forces above us in the form of various deities, but this year something happened to me for the first time in my life: I lost my faith, I was stuck on the earthly level, where death, war, destruction, and total mental and physical burnout are ruling our wonderful planet. This massive energy absorbed me and did not release me until the lyrics of Martyrium were born. After the release of our latest single and only Hungarian song called Lilith, we wanted something unique for the next track as well, so I managed to ask Kristoffer Gildenlöw to sing with me on the song. You can also find such themes as faith and disbelief in his work, so there was no question for me that he is the perfect voice and personality for this collaboration, which is truly a great honor” – says singer and bass guitarist Eszter Anna Baumann.

Ann my Guard is an established name in the alternative metal scene.  The band has released four albums, which all got nice international feedback and recognition. The music of Ann my Guard experiments with heavy riffs and haunting melodies with a dark feminine touch. In the artistic realm of Eszter Anna Baumann, she seeks to embrace the hidden part of the self and tries to dig beneath the surface where old mythologies lead the traveler to self-empowerment.

This autumn they also released a new single along with a music video called Lilith.
