Denver, CO metal upstarts ANTISAINT take to the road with their old friends Drowning Pool for the next twelve dates of the ‘Strike A Nerve 2022 Fall Tour’ kicking off 11/04 in Colorado Springs and running through 11/19 closing out in Austin, TX.
Touring in support of their debut full length album, VATICINATE, the band take their dynamic stage show to the road for the first time since brothers Matthew and Andrew Whiteman rebranded themselves as ANTISAINT. “We decided to change the name for several reasons,” explains frontman Matthew Whiteman. The first reason was due to our belief that this next step we’re taking with the band will be our defining moment, and in that moment, we do not want to be mistaken with an already known band by a similar name. There has been a lot of confusion by both people in the industry and fans between the two bands.”
As for the VATICINATE album, “when we set out to create our new record we originally intended to release it as 3 separate EPs that formed a long full length, explains guitarist Andrew.Whiteman “The plan was to tour each EP and give fans a different show each time they saw us over the course of a year and a half. Because that couldn’t be our reality we still wanted to present fans with the experience we envisioned for this project. That is why we created the 3 Disc Deluxe Edition to separate the record into the 3 chapters and showcase all the artwork we had created for the individual EPs. We amped it up even more by creating holographic discs and special UV packaging.”
As well as being available in the triple EP version, VATICINATE is also being released as one full sixteen track album. The album art features a 16 page booklet with 8 panels of unique art designed by Matt Whiteman. Special art prints are also available with the release of the three singles, “INCOMPLETE,” “FEED THE CROWS” and “REDISCOVERING REASON.”
