APOSENTO Unveils New Single and Tracklist for Upcoming Album “No Safe Haven”
The legendary Spanish death metal band APOSENTO has just released the first advance single from their forthcoming fourth album, “No Safe Haven”. Set for release on July 2nd through Xtreem Music, the album will be available on CD and digital formats, with a vinyl release to follow. This comes just two days before their performance at the Obscene Extreme Festival.
“No Safe Haven” was recorded at Rock Lab Studios with Dan Díez from TIERRA SANTA, and mixed by Davide Billia (BEHEADED, ANTROPOPHAGUS, ex-HOUR OF PENANCE) at MK2 Studios in Italy. The result is a brutal and powerful sound that harks back to the classic death metal of early 90s Florida. The album cover art, created by Naroa Etxebarría, was revealed in April.
Since their last album, APOSENTO has seen some lineup changes, including the return of former vocalist Carlos García, who was with the band from ’93 to ’97 and recorded the EP “Welcome to Darkness.” Manu Reyes, who has been with the band since its re-formation in 2012, has switched from bass to guitar. The current lineup is rounded out by bassist Pablo Vázquez, who joined in 2021, and new drummer Raúl Ceballos.
