BLACK WATER SUNSET TO DEBUT FIRST LP “ENGRAVED SPECTRAL AEONS”, FEATURING LEGENDARY EXTREME METAL MUSICIANS
Black Water Sunset is excited to announce the release of their debut album, “Engraved Spectral Aeons,” available on major streaming services on February 3, 2023.
Engraved Spectral Aeons is a concept album that incorporates elements of thrash, death metal, and post-metal. In this album, Jewish mysticism and Greek mythology come together with elements of strange horror and weird fiction in its creative portrayal of the demonological figure, the Dybbuk. The record features guest musicians George Kollias (NILE–Drums), Matt Harvey (EXHUMED, GRUESOME–Vocals), Mattias IA Eklundh (FREAK KITCHEN–Guitar), Jonathan Brophy (DISCOVERY OF AN AFTERLIFE–Vocals), and Michael Neste (EMULSIFIED FLESH–Vocals).
Black Water Sunset is an independent and collaborative musical project led by Alvin J. Primack and Darick Joyce and situated in Pittsburgh, PA and the High Desert Region of California. The group writes narratively driven extreme metal music that spans multiple subgenres.
