Brisbane Alt-Rockers Release Emotive New Single ‘Take My Hand’

Brisbane Alt-Rockers, The Lost Knights release their heartwarming new single ‘Take My Hand’. Delivering a heartfelt message about the inner battles that often go unseen, The Lost Knights bare it all in this raw high-octane rock anthem!

Opening with a heavy-hitting chord progression bolstered by pounding drums, driving bass lines and an emotive guitar lead, ‘Take My Hand’ sets the stage for the remorseful introspection to follow. This dynamic single showcases the group’s signature infusion of alternative rock and with pop sensibilities, expertly interweaving raw and emotive melodies with heavy hitting groove.

The Lost Knights seamlessly build and resolve tension by creating a push and pull between all instruments and hook-laden vocals that deliver gut-wrenching melodies with full gusto. Dancing between loss, frustration, and introspection, ‘Take My Hand’ is a chant-along stadium-ready tune that explores the regret that one may feel for not reaching out before it’s too late. Incorporating French Poetry recited by Anaïs Hockin and haunting choral arrangements to further hone in on the lyrical theme, this track will resonate with anyone who feels lost or has lost someone they hold dear.

Dummer Daniel Graham speaks on the new single: “Sometimes you want to help someone when it’s too late. Sometimes things are never going to be okay ever again. The Lost Knights are a close family and go through difficult times together, as brothers. Take My Hand screams of regret and sadness and most importantly it’s a message. It is a letter to those who are thinking of someone but they decide to hold off on reaching out for even just a moment.

The lyrics are a cry of imploding remorse, screaming out to those who feel so alone! Terry Greisbach (Vocalist) wrote the beginning lyrics on his garage wall which is a quiet place to reminisce about someone close and special. The song was starting to develop into an anthem when Jesse Luque (Guitarist) and I poured our sorrow and passion into the track. We pitched church choir vocals to be recorded and French poems to be spoken and suddenly the song transformed to what you hear today. We are incredibly proud to present their first track of 2022, Take My Hand”

The Lost Knights have been gaining a lot of momentum from their recent singles such as ‘Shivers (Ed Sheeran)’ & ‘Paper Skies’ which have been garnering global coverage and airplay. The group’s signature concoction of Pop Music and Modern Rock Anthems has established them as South East Queensland’s finest Alternative-Rock act and has seen them perform alongside Skillet, Luke Holland and more! With ‘Take My Hand’ being an impressive start to The Lost Knight’s new musical chapter, we’re definitely keen to hear what they come up with next!
