Broad And Sharp: after 4 years of silence, band returns with single ‘Sobre Meninos e Lobos’
After 4 years of silence, the brazilian metalcore group Broad And Sharp returns to activities with the release of the single/videoclip ‘Sobre Meninos e Lobos’.
Being much more than a simple return to the scene single, ‘Sobre Meninos e Lobos’ also marks the return of Levi Alves, founding member of Broad And Sharp, to the position of drummer of the group and also the addition of Tiago Boni on bass and Antonio Emerson on second guitar.
Regarding the return to activities, the band reported that:
“Four years have passed and in these difficult times the only thing that kept us together was faith, faith that everything would soon have an end for a new beginning…
Many losses occurred, but thanks to God we overcame them and continued to walk, always forward, sometimes without strength, but united we are always stronger, and that’s what it’s worth, walking together, always for each other, when one falls the other lifts you up, and so we will continue…
We thank everyone who follows us, and we are already announcing Broad And Sharp 2023, with a new cycle not only musical, but also life, giving value to the smallest details that life provides us”.
With lyrics by Wess Alves and instrumentals by Wess, Levi Alves, Fernando Oliveira and Bil Oliveira, ‘Sobre Meninos e Lobos’ was recorded at Estúdio 32, with mixing and mastering in charge of Estúdio TOTH. Its video clip was directed by Henrique Batista (Baap) and can be seen below:
