On November 19th 2021Consecration released the EP of reimagined horrors, Reanimated, exclusively on CD through Cavernous Records. Now on November 19th 2022 the band will celebrate the 1st anniversary of Reanimated by giving it a full digital release for the very first time.

Speaking about Reanimated at the time of its original, physical release the band said…

“…We have dug down into the grave and disinterred three rotten corpses; dissected and reformed them into something new, breathing a dark new life into them. These songs together are Reanimated.

Reanimated was recorded live in the studio. ‘Cast Down For The Burning MMXXI’ and ‘Gut The Priest MMXXI’ are reworked versions of tracks that appeared on our 2010 debut EP, Gut The Priest, while ‘Domain Of Despair’ is a new interpretation of an unreleased 2011 demo – never available before in any format…”

Press reaction to Reanimated was superb, as can be seen from the handful of selected quotes below…
“… a torturous grinding affair…” – VM UNDERGROUND
“… the metal soundtrack to a horde of zombies lumbering inevitably forwards to their next victim.” – METAL TEMPLE
“… an atmosphere you can immerse yourself in.” – THE RAZOR’S EDGE
“Their most streamlined, visceral work to date…” – DISTORTED SOUND MAGAZINE
“…raw, menacing, insidious and down right sinister…” – METAL NOISE

Don’t miss Reanimated when it crawls from the grave onto all major streaming platforms and the Consecration bandcamp page on November 19th. For those still after an original CD edition of Reanimated very limited copies remain available through Cavernous Records.
