Spanish speed/heavy metal band CRIMSON STORM has signed with Fighter Records to release their debut album Livin’ On the Bad Side, set to drop on 14th January 2025 in CD, 12″ LP, and digital formats.

The band, originally formed in 2009 by guitarist and primary songwriter Lögan Heads in his hometown of Sardinia, Italy, was born out of a passion for reviving the glory days of ‘80s heavy, power, and speed metal. The inspiration for the band’s name came from Riot’s track “Sign of the Crimson Storm.”

After several lineup changes and stabilising their core members, CRIMSON STORM released their first EP Motor City Maniac in 2014, followed by the 7″ EP Speed Hammerin’ Metal in 2015. That same year, Lögan moved to Barcelona and reformed the band with new members, leading to the release of their second EP, Outrageous, in 2019.

In 2022, the band made their return to the live stage, supporting Stallion in Murcia, and performing at Trveheim Festival in Germany and Pyrenean Warriors Open Air in France. It was during this period that work began on their first full-length album.

By 2024, CRIMSON STORM had entered the studio to bring Livin’ On the Bad Side to life. Now signed with Fighter Records for global promotion and distribution, the band is ready to present a collection of new tracks alongside reworked versions of earlier singles. The new record promises the energy, nostalgia, and rebellious spirit that defined the golden age of ‘80s heavy metal.
