High-impact extreme metal riffs in different musical contexts, with each release, Dead God showcases its mastery of various metal genres.
Dead God is the solo project of Stockholm-based Iranian producer and guitarist Masoud Moghaddari, renowned for producing some of Iran’s most significant metal releases over the past decade. After years of unsuccessfully searching for a suitable vocalist to release songs across various metal sub-genres, Masoud decided to learn to growl himself and founded Dead God in 2022. Above all, his project Dead God showcases Masoud’s passion and proficiency for a wide range of metal genres, including death metal, black metal, deathcore, djent, groove metal, and more. In just two years, he has released songs across all these genres and established a dedicated YouTube channel featuring numerous high-quality covers in various styles. Masoud’s versatility across diverse genres is evident in his previous Iranian oriental metal band, Integral Rigor, where he played guitar and produced the band’s last three singles, as well as in his current role as the bassist for the Swedish beatdown deathcore band, Human Disposal. This contrast is also reflected in the many projects he has produced over the years, including Pointed Mutation’s 2020 EP ‘Engineering the Unhuman’ (technical death metal), Amongst the Ashes’ 2020 EP ‘Agonizing Awakening’ (melodic death metal), and Kheftook’s 2024 album ‘Cycle of Torment’ (brutal/blackened death metal).
