ED GAGE releases “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” AC/DC cover song single on limited edition lathe vinyl
Los Angeles, California based rocker, actor and stuntman ED GAGE has released his AC/DC cover song of the classic “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” on lathe cut single vinyl . The vinyl is available via PIG Records.
The AC/DC cover song features New Wave of British Heavy Metal legends the late vocalist Steve Grimmett of Grim Reaper (RIP) and vocalist / bassist John Gallagher of Raven.

Side A of the vinyl single is a studio cover of AC/DC’s classic hit song “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” with New Wave Of British Heavy Metal legends John Gallagher of Raven and the late Steve Grimmett of Grim Reaper. The song was first released digitally in February 2021 followed by a music video of the cover song during August 2021. In February 2023, I finally released it as a limited edition lathe cut vinyl through P.I.G. Records and serving as a tribute to Steve Grimmett.
“During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I had the idea of wanting to do a studio recording of “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” mainly because I had grown up a huge AC/DC fan as they were one of my first influences. I also brought on-board my two band mates from Buffalo, NY., Derek Sedota on guitar and Nick Moran on drums. I thought who else could I get on it that would be perfect and that would make it a phenomenal recording. So, I reached out to both John Gallagher of Raven and Steve Grimmett of Grim Reaper and they automatically were on board to record. Getting to record with two of my musical influences was without a doubt a dream come true for me.”
Side B of the vinyl single is the instrumental track “The Depths Of Valhalla” which is a song where I play a lengthy guitar solo.
“Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” was recorded in various locations including Los Angeles CA, Buffalo NY, Newcastle UK and Swindon UK.

Biography:
Ed Gage originally hailing from the East Coast made his way to Los Angeles, California in June 2017 to pursue his career in film and music. Upon arriving, he has collaborated in the studio with some well-known metal players including the late Steve Grimmett (Grim Reaper vocalist), John Gallagher (Raven bassist / vocalist), Rik Fox (Steeler, W.A.S.P. bassist), Dave Starr (Vicious Rumors, Chastain bassist) as well as previously performing live with current and former members of Anthrax, Lita Ford, Yngwie Malmsteen and more. Aside from his musical pursuits he has also developed an impeccable career in the film industry as an actor, martial artist and stuntman. He has appeared in hit TV shows and Films including “The Mandalorian”, “Westworld”, “Hunters” and many more that have appeared on major streaming services and television networks including HBO, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Hulu, TubiTV and more. That being said he has worked alongside many prolific names in Hollywood in the process.
