“This band started out while I was still a guitarist with a local band called Infect. I was at a point where I was always coming up with new song ideas, new instruments and sound design ideas. I had all this material just waiting to be fleshed out into complete songs and no creative outlet for them. I’d been playing guitar, bass, and drums for years, but had never really dabbled much with keys even though electronic and industrial music has always been a strong interest. With that, I started learning as much as I could about how electronic music was made, and started bringing that knowledge into the rock and metal song ideas I had sitting around. It didn’t take long before I decided that was where I really needed to be focusing, so I left Infect to work on industrial full time. I went through a few trials runs trying to get the feel and sound I was working toward, and started talking with Killjoy about collaborating a little on a song or two. That collaboration, No Remorse… we were both pretty shocked at how well that worked out, and decided to keep at it. At that time, I was still working on Exopulse as a solo project, but after seeing how well the Reprocessed EP went, we decided to make the collaboration permanent. Killjoy took over lead vocals, and became the fire that ExoPulse needed.“
