Colorado prog metal visionaries Exuvial are excited to release “Autonomic Awakening,” an intense and dynamic preview of their upcoming concept album The Hive Mind Chronicles Part I: Parasitica.
“Autonomic Awakening” and its accompanying music video illustrate an individual’s emotional turmoil within a dystopian hive mind, juxtaposed with displays of the band’s technical mastery. Angular rhythms collide with soft passages and evolving melodies into a powerful lead single that is certain to hook fans of technical and progressive metal.
The single precedes the band’s first full-length album, mixed and mastered by AJ Viana (Hath, Cognitive) and visually brought to life by Caelan Stokkermans (Lorna Shore, Crown Magnetar). Each song on the epic sci-fi concept album is accompanied by a music video for a fully immersive experience.
