Finnish rockers Bad Valentines release their new single ‘Last Days in the Sun’ on Friday 24.1.2025.
Following the success of debut single ‘Mariia’ in 2024, this latest eff ort is a succulent taster of the band’s forthcoming EP ‘Memory Tattoos’ which will be released in April 2025.
Produced by Petri Majuri (Hanoi Rocks, Franz ferdinand, Michael Monroe etc.) and Sammy Aaltonen (Private Line, Andy McCoy Band), ‘Last Days in the Sun’ solidifi es the group’s standing as one of the most exiting newcomers on the Helsinki rock scene.
Formed in 2023, Bad Valentines comprises front-woman Hon, guitarists Pekko Mantzin and Kupe Wessman, bassist Bryan Ugartechea and drummer Sirpa Immonen, all veterans of such acts as Daggerplay and Plastic Tears.
Last Days in the Sun is a power anthem about mental health and the fi ght between dark and light.
Chief songsmith Pekko Mantzin elaborates: “Last Days In The Sun is about battling depression. It´s a reminder that even in the darkest times, there is hope.
