HARADRIM comments:
“Defiling of spirit is one of the slower tracks on the album and showcases a greater emphasis on the vocals with riffs which adhere to a more classic black metal sound. This song also features a melodic lead guitar in the chorus which returns as the only passage with ambient clean guitars of the album.“
Hailing from the far north of Sweden, HARADRIM was formed during late 2021 and is based around the core duo of Anton Palmborg and Dennis Sjögren. Being a band heavily inspired by the crust and hardcore scene of their hometown Umeå, “Death of Idols” delivers a dynamic and relentless blend of massive tones that will delight all fans of Behemoth, Marduk and Martyrdöd.
“Death of Idols” was recorded and mixed in the summer of 2022 at Lilhuset productions by Andreas Gren. The album was mastered by Dan Swanö (Dissection, Incantation, Asphyx) at Unisound.
