Mother is about my personal experience of being raised by a single mom and witnessing her struggle. Watching the pain she went through from going through a divorce, my grandmother (her mom) dying at a young age, and the depression that she went through. This song is my thank you, my apologies, and my promise that I’ll always love and be there for her.” – Josh, vocalist of SevVven

Louisiana hard rock/nu metal band SevVven was founded in 2020 by members Ant Jones (guitar) and Josh Valdivieso (vocals) after a chance meeting on a website called BandLab when Ant posted a version of a track and Josh recorded vocals over it that Ant loved. While that connection sparked the beginning of the band, they weren’t complete until Jessie Hoda (guitar), Katt Lee (drums), and Jody Linnell (bass), joined the lineup.

The band’s 2021 single “Falling” featuring Krizz Kaliko peaked on the Billboard Rock Indicator Chart at #18 and soon after their remade version of “All I Need Is You” climbed to #23 on the same chart. They began working with producer Myles Clayborne, who is also the drummer of popular hard rock band SAUL, in the summer of 2022 and have continued to evolve ever since as demonstrated in their recent singles “Cannibals” and “Awakened”.

They signed a record label deal with WakeUp! Music Rocks in 2022 and have had the amazing opportunity to perform at Danny Wimmer Presents’ Louder Than Life in Kentucky as well as Raidfest in Louisiana. They have also played various other shows across Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas.

SevVven has now released a powerfully emotional new single entitled “Mother” as well as the heartfelt music video shot by Elynia Productions.
