The video of “Visions of a Robot”, the new HELIKON single, is available at this location. The song is also streaming on all digital platforms via Ad Noctem Records.
The song is part of the concept inspired by Isaac Asimov‘s three laws of robotics, a journey in four episodes which will be released throughout the year. An entire story written by the members of the thrash metal band, divided into four parts / singles, which will all end up in an EP whose title will be revealed in due course.
Each single will feature its own cover artwork created by the artist Silvano Ancellotti. By assembling the four covers, the listener will obtain the definitive artwork of the EP.
The recording sessions took place at Fear Studio in Alfonsine, under the expert guidance of Gabriele Ravaglia (EXTREMA, WHITE SKULL, CADAVERIA, NECRODEATH, RAIN, THE BURNING DOGMA and others) and Giuseppe Bassi (FEAR FACTORY, LEVANIA).
Guitarist Dave Piazza comments:
“It’s a project I had in mind for some time. I’ve been a fan of Isaac Asimov pretty much forever; his works have accompanied my entire adolescence, I am very attached to them.
In the pre-production phases we sent the material to the Ad Noctem Records team and to our management. As soon as they received a song they called us to receive the next one. At first we didn’t understand why these pressures, even if they were always courteous and moderate, then, talking on the phone, it was fun to know that they simply wanted to know the end of the story. Hence the idea of dividing it into four distinct releases was born. I really hope that this work will get you excited too”.
