Kansas City, MO — Thrash metal juggernaut Hellevate has unleashed their latest sonic assault, “Rage Dealers,” a blistering new single that cements their place as one of the most dynamic forces in today’s metal landscape. This track serves as a powerful bridge between their previous EP, The Purpose Is Cruelty, and the eagerly awaited new album, showcasing Hellevate’s signature fusion of melodic thrash with elements of extreme and power metal.

“In the process of writing our next album, we realized we had so many songs we liked that we felt we needed another way to get them out,” shared the band. “So, we decided to release a standalone single or two, otherwise we’d end up writing a double album! “Rage Dealers” is about how there seems to be a constant incentive to keep everyone angry and miserable. The news and social media are the most obvious culprits, but it’s really everywhere! It’s the easiest way to get and maintain attention these days. You get hooked with some provocation, and you keep coming back, every time seeking out a little bit more than the last time. It really can be addicting. And you can see the effects it has on people all around you.”

Initially, the band didn’t plan on creating a music video, but as they joked about potential concepts, inspiration struck. “What started as playful banter turned into a strong visual idea that we couldn”t resist bringing to life. Filming was a blast, and we can”t wait for everyone to see it!” They hired award winning director, Hulon E. Crayton II (Lonnie) and Jessyca Christman to produce the project in conjunction with 825 Studios and Universal Music Group.

825 Studios also released a condensed version of the video. The Director’s Cut strips away the introduction and outro for the video, while the full-length video was released exclusively on Hellevate’s YouTube channel. The fan favorite however, is the full-length version because of all the added quirkiness the singer adds to his already amazing performance.

What made this journey even more amazing, is the band sharing it’s behind the scenes photos of the video shoot. Paging thru, you can tell Hellevate enjoyed the process. It something the the bands fans can really appreciate.

Rave reviews are already pouring in, with Ninni Cangiano of AllAroundMetal declaring, “A new hope for thrash comes from the States!” With “Rage Dealers,” Hellevate is proving precisely why they deserve this recognition. The single is a relentless barrage of crushing riffs, blistering solos, and the razor-sharp vocals of frontman Robert Browne. It’s a testament to the band”s unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of thrash while staying true to their roots.

Lyrically, “Rage Dealers” embodies Hellevate”s philosophy of crafting music that is both memorable and impactful. The band”s direct and intense approach to songwriting stands out in a time when many artists lean on abstract symbolism. “We want our listeners to feel the weight of our words,” they said. “It’s about creating an emotional experience that resonates long after the final note fades.”

Since their explosive debut album in 2012, Hellevate has carved a niche for themselves in the metal community, electrifying audiences with high-energy live performances alongside legends such as Exodus, Kreator, Accept, Overkill, and Danzig. Their reputation as a formidable live act continues to grow, bringing together fans from all corners of the metal world.
