American Doom Groove Metal Band Hereafter Release Second Single “Different Kind of Something”
American Doom Groove Metal band Hereafter have released their second single and visualizer video, “Different Kind of Something” from their debut EP, “Fires of the Flame.”
Coming off the heels of the band’s first single, “Devil by Your Side,” in June, “Different Kind of Something” offers listeners a taste of what their signature style of Doom Groove is all about.
“The Fires of the Flame EP is definitely ‘a different kind of something’ for all of us involved in Hereafter,” said band vocalist Chris Natalini.
Hereafter features vocalist Chris Natalini (Execution Order/former Blood Feast), drummer Mad T (Corners of Sanctuary), bassist Robert Bigler (Burned in Effigy) and guitarist/producer Mick Michaels (Corners of Sanctuary). The group formed during the height of the pandemic restrictions.
Hereafter delivers their own methodical forte for Metal audiences to experience and take a bite of. The band’s approach is a simple combination of subtly mixing various sounds and styles together, creating a melodically executed flavor, thus giving “Fires of the Flame” its unique framework and organic appeal.
“There is definitely a collection of styles and influences with this EP,” said guitarist and band producer Mick Michaels. “How can there not be…I think there’s something for everyone to enjoy with this music.”
“Fires of the Flame” is now available digitally via Sonic Velocity Records on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, iTunes, YouTube Music and Amazonamong many other online platforms. The release is also available on CD and can be ordered directly from the band.
Hereafter is already working on a follow up release; however, no approximate date has been given.
“Just wait ‘til the next one!” Natalini added.
