HOLLOW FRONT SHARE “HERITAGE” VIDEO — WATCH

NEW ALBUM THE PRICE OF DREAMING OUT MAY 27 VIA UNFD

Grand Rapids-based, metalcore up ‘n’ comers Hollow Front will drop their third album The Price of Dreaming on May 27 via UNFD. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band has shared the video for the new single “Heritage.” The clip finds the band in performance mode, all the while cutting to close up shots of the members’ faces, resulting in a disarming and jarring intimacy that matches the unrelenting ferocity of the music.

Watch it here.

The song will be live at midnight ET on all DSPs.

Sonically, “Heritage” is a banger. But it also emits a potent and extremely topical message.

“‘Heritage’ was created as a response to those who validate systemic racism by justifying it under the guise of ‘heritage,'” the band explains. “If anyone claims their ‘heritage’ allows for hate to thrive, and violence against a targeted group of people to be inconsequential, then this song is for them.”

Hollow Front will hit the road this summer, touring with August Burns Red, We Came as Romans, and labelmates Void of Vision. All dates are below.

Hollow Front are one of the most exciting metal bands on the rise. The band has already garnered key support from the likes of idobi Howl (U.S.), Sirius XM Octane (U.S.), Full Metal Jackie (U.S.), Triple M Distortion (AU), triple j short.fast.loud (AU), The Faction (AU), and more.

And they are only just getting started.

ABOUT HOLLOW FRONT:
Summoning the heaviness of names such as Wage War and The Ghost Inside together with dynamic, Polaris-esque melodics, Hollow Front untangle personal losses, relationship breakdowns, and struggling mentally amid life’s waves across their catalog. Stationed out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, the band exploded onto the international heavy conscious with their 2020 album Loose Threads. The release picked up over 1 million streams in its first week, ignited deals with UNFD and Sound Talent, and the likes of Ryan Kirby (Fit For a King) declaring Hollow Front an immediate must-watch. In 2021, Hollow Front continued the frenzied momentum felt on their debut, not only returning to the post-COVID touring circuit in full force (supporting the likes of Fit For a King, We Came as Romans, and Dayseeker) but also sharing some of their most visionary work to date. 2022 will be the year of Hollow Front.
