After the re-release of single track “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” featuring none other than Lucas Woodland (Holding Absence), the Swedish armada continues to breathe new life into the latest with an new live rendition of title track “The Black.” Enhanced by a string quartet and grand piano, Imminence presents a live version that truly justifies the depths and complexity of the music & arrangements. Unlike many other acts incorporating orchestral elements to their live performances, these elements live within the very DNA of Imminence’s compositions. Recorded at the historic Ystad Theatre, this live version reveals a new facet of the band’s persona, reaffirming Imminence’s status as one of today’s most unique and innovative musical acts.
