Interview With Surival Is Suicide
By Keith Clement
Greetings from Metalheads Forever Magazine, I’m Keith, How are you doing?
Hi Keith! Thanks for this interview! Right now we are travelling to Helmond for the next gig. We take part in Viktoria Europa Tour part 3 with great bands like Marduk, Valkyrja and Attic.
Can you tell us about Survival Is Suicide, how it was formed?
Yes, of course. Survival Is Suicide was created in 2007 with the idea to make an experimental extreme band. For us was very important to have our own sound.
Why Surival is Suicide, Is there an anecdote behind it?
Living this life it’s very hard, all around the world a lot of people have very problems and they have no choice to live a better existence… I think everybody wants to live on good conditions so nobody wants to survive, everybody wants to live.
Starting today May 1st you are touring with Marduk, Valkyrja and Attic, tell me how is the experience to perform with these bands?
It’s really great and a good experience for us. Relationship with other bands and with the crew is OK and all the organization is very professional. We can do it really great shows for a big audience and it’s will be very positive for the band, so it’s a good experience for us.
What are your musical influences when it comes to extreme metal?
All the classic heavy metal and true and old extreme metal bands. Death, Kreator, Sodom, Sepultura, Marduk, Coroner, Morbid Angel, Terrorizer, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and King Crimson or Pink Floyd also… We love classical music and soundtracks too.
What are the plans for the band?
We will try to play more gigs or another tour this year, I think that’s possible. In the next year we would like make the same until June and the rest of the year it’s possible that Survival Is Suicide will start to create the next album. But this entire are only plans… That it’s not definitive, but it’s our idea.
What are the things you hate most in this world?
Well… I suppose the most hated for us in this world are the fucking governments, injustices, the system, the closed minds people, corruption… You know… Sadly there are many shit in this world.
Do you have a message for the readers and the fans?
Yes, If you want something different follow our band, listening our songs and always that we have a gig next your town come to see us!! All the bands need support!!
Thank you Metal Heads Forever for this interview!! Cheers.
