Jeff Black (Vancouver, BC) has released a new music music video for “Wintertide”, featuring progressive rock singer Leo Maia. This is Jeff’s ninth single in his solo series.
“Wintertide” is a marathon of galloping riffs, cinematic synthesizers and features a spine-tingling vocal performance. The song is about the coldest that separates us and keeps us apart, silencing us when we have so much to say. The song was released on December 08, 2022 and the video was filmed in Squamish, BC, at the foot of the mountains. Also features a special, secret guest appearance!
All the music was written by Jeff Black and produced at his home studio, with lyrics and vocal melodies added by Leo Maia. Mixing duties were handled by Jeff himself but Ermin Hamidovic (Stratovarius, Periphery, Devin Townsend) provided an excellent master to push the song to its sonic limits.
