Today, Canadian metal and noise rock royalty, KEN MODE release new single “Throw Your Phone In The River”. This is the fourth single off of the group’s upcoming full-length, Null,out September 23rd via Artoffact Records. Mixed by Andrew Schneider (Cave In, Unsane), the single is an unhinged masterpiece with sounds of desperation oozing to the surface. Listen to the track HERE and watch the music video HERE! “I wanted it to feel unhinged, and convey the desperation I was feeling with not being able to help those closest to me because I, myself, was falling apart. I love the way Andrew Schneider mixed the vocals to really drive the different takes I did home; it helped convey the inner conflict that was taking place.”
KEN mode will be bringing their unique brand of metal and hardcore-infused noise-rock home to Canada this month and into November with a string of tour dates. With two decades under their belts, the group have a list of impressive achievements including winning the inaugural Juno Award for Best Metal / Hard Rock Album of the Year for “Venerable” in 2012.
