LESTWEFORGET EXPRESSES LOVE OF NORSE MYTHOLOGY WITH MYSTICALLY POWERFUL NEW SINGLE “JOTUNN”!
UK virtuoso progressive metal act LestWeForget presents the band’s latest incarnation (after the dominant previous “Sleepwalking”), including the just announced addition of drummer Oscar Lopez, with the compelling and mystically entrancing, influenced by Norse mythology, brand new single “Jötunn”!
With the band’s innovative sound deriving from juxtaposition, existing in the connection between JH Norris’s monumental vocals, Harry Lingard-Bright’s soaring lead lines, Paul Heavey’s driving guitar riffs and the newly added Oscar Lopez’s thunderous drum-work, “Jötunn” is yet another installment of LestWeForget‘s notably strong catalogue and activity, which – as promised by the band – will only expand further in the next upcoming months!

Discussing the group’s latest music endeavor and its respective influenced, LestWeForget collectively adds:
“This song sets its sights on the wonderful and intoxicating world of Norse mythology, telling a very brief story of creation, ascension, war and the inevitable end: Ragnarok. Paul’s love of the topic inspired the narrative of the song, one which he felt would fit perfectly with the volatile nature of the music he had written. That music is a full cocktail of influences and inspirations, the sum of which took him an abnormally long time to finish, even before he and JH began writing the vocal melodies. Though this was frustrating at times, it ended up making it a particularly meaningful project.
Beyond “Jötunn”, we are really excited for what’s on the horizon for the band. We’re hoping that in the not-too-distant future we’ll be able to share some specific details, but for now let’s say that we’ll be spending the next few months working on our largest project yet. And aside from recording, we’re also finalising a number of very exciting tour packages, to be announced in the near future.”
